Before you start

Needs: Microsoft 365 Copilot, with Cowork and usage billing turned on by your admin. Not sure what you have? Start here.
Where: Copilot app, Cowork automations.
Access: Copilot only uses content you already have permission to open. Use only information your company allows in Copilot.

The steps

Open Cowork and paste the prompt.
Ask Cowork to schedule it for every [Friday at 2pm].
Check the first run closely and adjust the prompt.
Edit, reschedule or turn it off from Automations.

Every [Friday at 2pm], draft my weekly status for [project].

Look at this week's emails, meetings, Teams messages and files about [project].
Sections: Done, In progress, Risks, Decisions needed, Next week.
Cite sources. Flag anything that conflicts.
Save it as a Word doc and tell me it's ready. Don't send it to anyone.
